Carel is a Bitcoin convert doing the work of Lord Satoshi. He has dedicated his life to proving Bitcoin can be money. His contributions to the local ecosystem in South Africa include co-founding the largest Bitcoin exchange, Luno, and more recently building the leading Bitcoin payments service provider, MoneyBadger, which powers Bitcoin payments at over 1500 Pick n Pay stores nationwide.
