Almo is Namibian born and based in Cape Town. He is a founding team member and executive in legal & compliance at INVES Capital, and host of the Business, Bucks & Beachbats Podcast (YouTube exclusively). He holds an LLB, Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and Postgraduate Certificate in Social Security & Pensions. He has been professionally certified as a legal practitioner, financial planner and fiduciary practitioner. Almo has also authored sections in two legal academic publications - Juta & LexisNexis, specially focusing on regulation, including a roadmap on digital asset regulatory developments in South Africa. Almo has been, and is currently involved in a number of innovative projects furthering the adoption of Bitcoin in South Africa and Namibia, bringing his experience in regulatory matters together with his passion for real financial inclusion.
